Nancy Smithson Summerlin spent 25 years as a communicator and manager in the electric utility industry and for a large chemical production facility.  In 2004 she left her corporate career to attend Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond, VA, where she was the chapel coordinator and received the E. T. George Award for excellence in Homiletics, Worship, and Public Speaking.  She has served small churches in Virginia and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and leads retreats at church conference centers.
